What is Taoist Mediation?
Taoist mediation is a style where simple warmup exercises are used to open the body to prepare it
for the mediation. A specific posture is used to align the body to allow the breath and energy to flow
through the body. Specific breathing methods are used to focus the breath, settle the mind, absorb
energy and to convert it to Chi.
The combination of the posture and breathing:
Centers and relaxes the body and mind
Relieves physical and mental stress
Increases oxygen in the body
Enhances blood flow
Enhances and tunes the nerves’ electrical signals/pulses
Builds and enhances Chi capability
The mediation sessions are being lead by Richard or Unity from Wind Mountain Water Tai Chi.
